The public pages were the slowest ones
Members saw a working site every day — but Google and every prospective member landed on logged-out pages scoring 36, waiting over six seconds for content and 530ms for anything to respond under a pile of heavy scripts.
Caching for the visitors who matter most
Logged-out traffic got real caching, third-party scripts were cut back to what the site actually needs, and the key templates were optimised — 22 requests gone and page weight down 55%, while the members’ logged-in experience stayed untouched.
Vitals recovered across the board
Mobile 36 → 92, desktop 72 → 98. LCP from 6.1s to 1.7s and interaction latency from 530ms to 118ms — failing Core Web Vitals turned passing on every page a prospect ever sees.
